Key to the success of the Stephen Paul salon are Stephen and Kathy: both fully trained in the Vidal Sassoon approach to haircutting, by Sassoon artistic directors Tony Beckerman and Graham Brakwell in Seattle Washington.
Stephen and Kathy then travelled all over the world as a creative team: Canada, London, South Africa, Hong Kong, Australia.

What is an Artist Director?
An Artistic Directors first job is to lead a team which could be anything from 3 to 300, to be the most experienced, knowledgeable and creative person in that team. To know and show direction in fashion and new techniques in cutting and colour. Finally to be responsible for the work by the team and that it meets his/her standards.

They came back to England and opened Stephen Paul Hair in Breaston.
Veronica
Fully trained under Stephen and Kathy. Obtained NVQ levels 1 and 2 and went onto obtain Level 3 which includes advanced fashion techniques in haircutting, highlighting and colour. Veronica has been at Stephen Paul Hair since 2008.
